Hobbies

Learning new things and developing new skills bring creativity, enthusiasm, and a renewed passion for life. Throughout my journey, I have always been fascinated by opportunities to learn beyond my primary responsibilities. I spent time working with computer hardware assembly and software applications, which helped me develop both technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Later, I ventured into commercial printing as a way of supporting fundraising initiatives, discovering along the way the creative world of graphic design, layout, and digital editing. Each new skill opened another door of learning and self-expression, showing me that creativity is not simply an inborn talent but a capacity that grows whenever we are willing to explore, adapt, and embrace new challenges. These experiences have enriched both my personal life and my ministry, inspiring me to remain curious, innovative, and open to lifelong learning.

One of my favorite pastimes is spending time outdoors in the garden and taking care of repairs and maintenance around the house. I enjoy fixing things that need attention, whether it is a small repair or a larger project. These activities allow me to step away from office work, stay active, and work with my hands. I have learned many practical skills through these experiences, and there is something satisfying about seeing the results of a job well done. Beyond the sense of accomplishment, it also gives me the opportunity to sweat a little, enjoy the fresh air, and maintain a healthy balance between intellectual work and physical activity.

One of the most meaningful aspects of my missionary life has been my involvement in apostolates for children and young people. Throughout my years of ministry in different mission territories—from the Philippines to the United States—I have had the privilege of accompanying the younger generation through catechesis, youth programs, vocation promotion, and various pastoral activities. Their energy, openness, and capacity to dream have always inspired me. I have come to see children and youth not only as the future of the Church but as active participants in its present mission. In many mission areas, they are a source of hope, renewal, and vitality, helping communities grow in faith and unity. Walking with them, listening to their stories, and encouraging them to discover their gifts has been one of the most rewarding and life-giving experiences of my ministry.

Printing projects

These initiatives have become the bread and butter of my little initiative apart from the work of the community, enabling me to extend support to communities in the Philippines, India, and Mexico. Through fundraising projects, printing services, graphic design, and various creative endeavors, I have been able to contribute to educational, pastoral, and social programs that benefit those most in need. More than simply raising funds, these activities provide an opportunity to share and promote the charism of the Rogationists—the mission of praying for vocations and caring for the poor and abandoned. By combining creativity, practical skills, and missionary commitment, I am able to support our apostolic works while helping others encounter the values and spirit that define our congregation.
